This game is awesome fun for all ages!.
I wanted to find an online MMORPG game for my 13 yr old son that would provide an alternative to similar games (ie. such as Runscape, etc..), so he wouldn't have to pay a subscription fee to play. I also wanted something that would allow us to support open-source. This game gives both! It is currently only in pre-alpha status, but it already very rich in features, quests, items, magic, and more! I now play this game with my son and my 10 yr old daughter. We have developed friendships with other players from all over as the community in the game is global. The player community is very friendly and very supportive of new players. I recommend this game to everyone.
Pros: Very well thought out. Feature rich. 2D Graphics, loads quickly and is very smooth. Reminiscent of Zelda. Very large number of quests to solve. Different classes to play as. When you die you DON'T lose your items!! Family friendly. Easy install on Windows.
Cons: 2D Graphics. Let's face it, some people just WANT 3D. It's only pre-alpha yet so there are a few bugs now and then. You sometimes experience server disconnects. Again, it's pre-alpha. More difficult to upgrade under Linux.
